The MTN Foundation Scholarship Scheme is open for any undergraduate Nigerian student or any undergraduate international student that lives in the country of Nigeria and who is ready to proceed with his/her education with the MTN Foundation Scholarship Scheme. MTN Foundation Scholarship Scheme aimed at supporting School bills for Brilliant and Excellent students.
The MTN Foundation Scholarship Scheme is offering two types of scholarships, firstly, the MTN Science and Technology Scholarship Scheme (MTN STSS) and secondly, the MTN Scholarship Scheme for Blind Students (MTN SSBS). Both Scholarships are under the Youth Empowerment Cause, Both are currently in their 9th and 7th phase respectively.
The N200.000 award worth will be granted to eligible 300 level students studying Science & Technology related areas and blind students studying in Public Tertiary Institutions (Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education).

MTN Foundation Scholarship Award for Nigerian students is sponsored by Nigeria’s largest telecommunication company( MTN ) to undergraduate students who are eligible 300 level students and show excellent scholastic appearance.
The program is well known in institutions which include Universities in Nigeria, Polytechnics in Nigeria, and Colleges of Education in Nigeria. The scholarship covers the tuition, book allowance, and stipend and will be awarded to 500 outstanding students who passed the scholarship program test.

Eligibility
Before You Are eligible for the 2020 MTN Foundation Scholarship Scheme
You must:
- Candidate must have strong English skills i.e Candidate must be able to read, write, and demonstrate evidence of an adequate level of English proficiency.
- Candidate must be a citizen of Nigeria or live in Nigeria.
- Candidate must be eligible 300 level students studying Science & Technology related courses and blind students studying in Public Tertiary Institutions (Universities, Polytechnics, and Colleges of Education) across Nigeria
- Candidate must meet the scholarship eligibility criteria for the academic year 2020/2021.
